Air scoops were originally designed to funnel cooler outside air into hard-working aircraft engines. Now, these air scoops are
being used for vehicles on the road. An air scoop used for a vehicle is an extended attachment that reaches outside of the
vehicle’s body for cooler air. The air is then funneled into the vehicle’s engine and air intake system.
Finding the best place for your air scoop will depend on your vehicle and the style of driving you do. For example, someplace the
air scoop lower to the ground because warm air rises and colder air will be closer to the ground, but this may not work for those
that drive in swampy areas where the scoop could be flooded.
